Dear Friends and Members of BHERC,

The health of our friends, families, members and patrons are our primary concern and the most important priority.  As the information concerning containment and prevention of COVID-19 continues to evolve and the number of cases nationally continues to grow, we at BHERC want to act responsibly in concern for your safety.

Therefore, this means that our Los Angeles Premiere of “Veils” the musical scheduled to take place at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles Friday, March 13th and BOTH performances for Saturday, March 14thhave been postponed.

We have always known that we have a wonderful supportive following and appreciate your understanding in this difficult decision. It is our goal to continue to communicate to you through postings on our website at www.bherc.org about this situation and update you with any future developments. We are diligently working to find a way to bring this incredible production back to Los Angeles from Washington, DC at a later date.  It truly is a life altering and impactful experience.  We would ask you to help in contacting others to help share this news since time is short. However, we will be at the theatre to greet and coordinate with anyone that did not receive the news of the cancellation in advance.

Again, your health and safety come first.  Although our events are cancelled for now, we have implemented extra measures to keep our cast and crew, employees and anyone visiting the facilities for refunds or information, safe.  Additional housekeeping routines and more stringent sanitizing of the facility had already begun in anticipation of the weekend’s performances. However, the best defense is the practice of good hygiene and social distancing.

We continue to encourage everyone to follow the County of Los Angeles Public Health Department’s recommendations, including:

  • washing your hands frequently
  • staying home if you are feeling sick
  • if pregnant or elderly practice social distancing by avoiding non-essential travel, public events, community gatherings, and indoor venues
  • keeping informed by visiting the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health website often at lacounty.gov/ or the CDC https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html

We will process full refunds of your tickets in the method and channel you used to purchase your tickets (cash, credit, individual or group). Feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns by phone at 310.945.6506 or by email at [email protected]. Please understand that response time may be delayed due to high volume of inquiries at this time.

We continue to be grateful for your support and the support of the community-at-large. We thank you for your patience and understanding as the actions of each of us has the promise to keep all of us healthy and safe.

Sincerely,

Sandra J. Evers-Manly
