Kamali Minter - Writer/Director
Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Kamali Minter decided to pursue her passion for filmmaking by attending NYU’S Tisch School of the Arts. After graduating she relocated to Los Angeles where she is currently a freelance writer/director and editor. She was a Nickelodeon Writing Fellowship finalist, and her short film “Love Conquers Al” won an award for best comedy. Kamali has written, directed, and produced shorts, web series, EPK’s and music videos, as well as directed the hit Cabaret show ‘Herotica’ for the 3 Blacque Chix. She has edited shows for TLC, BRAVO, FOOD NETWORK, and MTV. She also works as a voice-over artist having voiced the characters of a ‘Shortie’ in Dreamworks’ Oscar nominated Sharktale, ‘Riku’, a lead on Cartoon Network’s anime hit Blood +, as well as roles in other shows and video games. |

Keena Ferguson - Writer/Director
A native of Jefferson City, Mo, Keena has been dancing since age three and entertaining the world in many art forms. Keena is a graduate of Ohio State University where she majored in dance. She was recently on tour in the hit stage play, The Bachelorette Party co-produced by Will Smith, as well as in independent films such as the enticing film “Inspired By…” that aired on BETJ. Keena also owns a production company, KaShKe Productions, LLC, with 2 other beautiful young ladies. Their inaugural project is titled Out The Box: A 3 Woman 1 Woman show. Keena is also a member of the beautiful and sexy Brown Betties.

On average people spend $21.00 a week at a coffee shop and not only adults but teens are getting very hip to this coffee shop craze. Kai Green, a young woman living the Los Angeles life, has a good job, great friends, she works out and makes her daily stop at the coffee shop. However, when Kai’s usual habits become more than just a regular mode of living, Kai is on the verge of lifestyle suicide. |

Foxx began his career in New York City before becoming the managing Producer of the Family Repertory Company. In 1975, Foxx founded Foxx Follies Productions and formed a theatre company, which toured the Pacific Northwest. Foxx currently serves as Staff Photographer for the L.A. Watts Times Newspaper and is a Free Lance Photo Journalist

A native of Memphis, Tennessee, and a veteran of the stage and screen, Ilunga’s.writing credits include Sanford and Son, 227, Roc, A Different World, Married With Children and Moesha. Ilunga is a graduate of the American Film Institute as a Directing Fellow.

Deon H. Hayman - Writer/Director
Deon is a graduate of UCLA, with a major in Ancient Civilizations and a minor in Film/TV Productions. He completed the UCLA Extension Film/TV Screenwriting Program, then entered LACC’s Directors Program, where he studied directing and cinematography. At LACC, he wrote and directed his first short film, titled “Hey Joe”—a tribute to the Jimi Hendrix song of the same title. His work experience entails dozens of TV show and pilot productions, as well as five years with Walt Disney Imagineering, where he worked in the Creative Story Development Department. As a screenwriter, he has developed several shorts and TV spec scripts, and has written a dozen feature length screenplays—two of which have reached the finalist in major screenplay competitions.

Lyn-Don-McCray - Director/Co-Writer
Thiel and Johnson are no strangers to horror or action. They first gained critical attention as students at the Art Institute of California - Los Angeles, where they both majored in film.
Since college, the two continued to create shorts and music videos under their independent film banner, IP Films. Success soon followed as Johnson's music video that he directed and produced, "Motherless Child" was a winner in the BET's "Ya Heard?" Independent Music Video Contest. Johnson also received an Honorable Mention from the Tabloid Witch Awards (Sci-fi/Horror Film Festival) for his breakout sci-fi short, "The Signal," which he directed, wrote, acted in, and produced.
Victor Cruz - Co- Writer
Victor Cruz was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, and raised in the heart of the South Bronx. At age sixteen he performed stand-up comedy at many clubs for the first time in downtown Manhattan in NYC and has since performed at many clubs and colleges throughout the nation. He went out to perfect his craft as an actor in the Acting Conservatory at SUNY Purchase College.

"Awilda and the Bee" - 13 Min.
This mini-parody of the film Akeelah and the Bee features a fiery boricua from the South Bronx, Awilda Lopez. Awilda is aloof to her natural great ability to spell. She is coerced by her teacher to enter her school spelling bee. After winning the local spelling bee, a mysterious professor, Morpheus, takes a special interest in Awilda, and decides to train her for the next level: She will have to overcome the obstacles of a few haters, a "smart-Chinese kid" and issues of her own self- confidence. Heeellllloooo!!!
